Rank the Roman Achievements (TCI Activity)

Posted Eureka Lessons 6th Grade social science, Lessons

CA Standards 7.1-1: Study the early strengths & lasting contributions of Rome (Roman citizenship, rights under Roman law, Roman art, architecture, engineering,  philosophy,  Spread of Christianity) …

For this activity, students walk around the room and visit each station with a placard and take notes on each achievement.  Then, using the matrix, they rank the achievements of the Rome by order of importance or "cool factor".  This was designed to accompany the TCI History Alive 6th grade California ed. textbook and resources but it can be modified to fit your textbook as well.
